And it begins
Childhood obesity starts early and links to problems throughout the rest of a child’s life. A common linked condition is diabetes, which affects 6.2% of the population. With better nutrition, less TV and more activity, childhood obesity can be beat. Not taking a stand could mean heart trouble, self insulin injections, self blood tests (prick your finger and drip blood onto a testing machine), kidney trouble, growth of dangerous viceral fat and adult obesity, for a child who doesn’t know the consequences of their food choices yet.
